Ontario,
California. If you wish to order an extra uniform (domed) or wallet (flat)
badge, contact the Chief for a letter of authorization. (no link available here)
Current cost is 75.75 + S&H (updated Jan. 2007)
CARE OF YOUR SUN BADGE - Badges are highly polished and finished with a clear, protective coating which should stay bright and shiny for several years. To clean your badge, use only mild soap and water. Do not use strong chemicals or abrasives because these agents will remove the coating and cause the badge to tarnish.
WARRANTY - Lifetime against detachment of safety catches, joints, panels, and seals or the discoloration of the cloisonné enamels. The clear baked enamel coating is warranted to protect badges from any discoloration for three (3) years. All other manufacturing defects protected for one (1) year, from the date of original invoice, and applies only to normal wear and tear.
